I am a husband, father, retired endurance coach, entrepreneur, five-time Ironman finisher, and former professional drivetrain mechanic. My coaching career began in 1975 with AAU Swimming and later expanded to youth baseball, where I led a Babe Ruth League Prep Division team to a World Championship and multiple Florida State Championships. From 2013 to 2025, I served as a USA Triathlon Certified Coach, alongside holding multiple coaching certifications associated with the United States Olympic Committee. My wife and I also owned Outspoken Bike Shops in Lake Mary, Florida, from 1997 to 2018. Since 2022, I’ve had the pleasure of working part-time at Bill Jackson’s Shop for Adventure. Outside of work, my passion for the outdoors keeps me active through endurance sports, swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, scuba diving, and nearly every water sport imaginable.
