Bill Jackson’s Firearm Safety Course is the perfect class for those who are new to shooting or who need a refresher on firearms safety and Florida Law. Taught by USCCA-certified instructors, this comprehensive course covers all the basics of handgun safety and handling while fulfilling the state requirements for your license application.
What You Will Learn & Receive in our Concealed Weapons License Course
This single-day course is structured to provide both classroom knowledge and essential
practical experience on our indoor pistol range.
- State-Certified Training: Receive a certificate recognized by the State of Florida to apply for your Concealed Weapons License.
- Expert Instruction: Learn from highly qualified USCCA (United States Concealed Carry Association) Certified Instructors.
- Fundamental Skills: Become familiar with the basics of handgun safety, proper handling, and gain the confidence you need to shoot safely.
Crucial Safety Note: Please DO NOT bring personal guns or ammunition to this class.

- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations or transfers with less than 48-hour notice are subject to the loss of fees paid.
Course Logistics & Fees
- Course Fee: $125 per person
- Typical Schedule: Saturdays, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (offered multiple times each month)
- Provided by Bill Jackson’s: USCCA workbook, USCCA certificate, firearms, ammunition, and targets
- Age Requirement: 21+
What Students Must Bring to our Concealed Weapons License Course
- Eye and Ear Protection: Must be earmuff style (not available for rent). These can be purchased in our gun shop.
- Proper Attire: Closed-toed shoes and non–V-neck shirts are mandatory for safety.
- Lunch and Beverage: Please bring your own lunch and a beverage in a spill-proof container. A soda machine is available on-site.
