The joys of snow skiing are best experienced with a solid foundation of skills developed through personal instruction. Bill Jackson’s Shop for Adventure is proud to offer private and personalized snow ski lessons on Tampa Bay’s only indoor ski slope. Our slope is open from November through March.
During your ski lesson, you will learn the following manuevers:
- Steer Pressure Edge
- Balance
- Slip Sliding
- Athletic Stance
- Wedge Christie Turn
- Wedge Turns
- Side Stepping
- Pole Plant
- Recovery from a fall
- Parallel Turns
- Wedge Speed Control
You must be at least 100 pounds to get up on our ski deck.
Cost includes skis and boots during your session.
