The First Responder/Rescue Diver course is held two nights per week (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday) from 6 pm – 9:30 pm. You will learn first-aid, CPR, O2 administration, AED, blood-borne pathogen and rescue training in just four weeks. Cost: Tuition is $350. Books (call the Dive Shop for pricing). A $100 deposit holds your spot; the balance is due the first night of class. Open-water dive fees are included. Our course is not the shortest or the cheapest ... just the best, most comprehensive scuba diving training in the area. You must provide your own snorkeling and scuba gear, bathing suit and towel. First Responder: This course enables non-professionals to effectively respond to an accident or medical emergency in the diving or community environment. Rescue Diver: The Scuba Rescue Diver Course (SRD) is designed to equip certified divers with additional self-rescue skills and to enable them to effectively intervene if their dive buddy experiences specific common diving problems. SRD graduates can perform assists and rescues in open-water situations and environmental conditions similar to those in which they train. Upon successful completion of the course you will receive certification from the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI), one of the top agencies in the world.
