Chassahowitzka River to Beete Jay Springs
Explore a spring that very few people know about. This is a beautiful 10 mile paddle down the Chas and then up Crawford Creek to the spring. We recommend kayaks 14 feet or longer and intermediate paddling skills. Please pack a lunch or feel free to share peanut butter sandwiches
(Trisha's secret family recipe) with Darry. There is a small parking fee.

Meet at 7:30am. Launch at 8:00am.

Location: Chassahowitzka Boat Ramp

Fee: Rental+Guide=$48pp. Own boat+Guide=$18pp.

Come paddle with us on this gorgeous river. It is the winter home of Florida's largest herd of manatee. Monkey
Island's residendts may applaud us as we pass.We will take a break at the Marguerita Grill for lunch and then paddle back. Don't forget to bring water, PFD, money for lunch, and a water proof bag.
