Letts Dive Meetups

Bill Jackson’s is now home to the Letts Dive Meetups for those  interested in continuing their SCUBA diving education in a fun, comfortable environment, regardless of experience or ability.

Spearheaded by Joe and Brenda Letts, these meetups will bring together divers for gear demos, training programs, and domestic and international travel experiences.

Meetups will be held at 7 pm on the second Wednesday of every month at the Bill Jackson Shop for Adventure.

Joe and Brenda invite you decompress with them and mingle with your fellow divers.

Spearfishing Seminar

Seminar leader Kevin Bruington will deliver information, tips and tricks for you to get the most out of your underwater hunting adventures, no matter if you are a beginner or an expert diver.

Cost (price includes lunch): Adults $35, kids 15 and under $20; Seminar plus video $45, spearfishing charter (3 tank trip) $150.

Time: 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, March 12

Spearfishing charter is Sunday, March 13.

Spearfishing Safari

Join the Bill Jackson’s staff and the crew of the Hook-N-Spear for a three-tank spearfishing adventure.

Cost: $150 per diver

You bring: speargun, dive certification, wetsuit, stringer, dive light, snorkel gear, regulator and all divers are required to have a Surface Signal Device (safety sausage marker).

If you are diving Air, dive computers are required (available for rent at Bill Jackson’s).

Shark Dive

In a collaborative effort, Bill Jackson’s and the Florida Aquarium are offering divers the opportunity to swim among sharks, giant sea turtles, barracuda, moray eels and goliath grouper during the Diving with Sharks Experience on March 26.

This shark dive event also includes parking, a $10 lunch voucher, admission to the aquarium, a T-shirt, a photo of your dive, a behind-the-scenes tour and more.

Cost: $150.

Divers must be 15 years of age or older and are required to bring their certification card, dive mask, swim suit, and a towel. All other equipment is provided by the Florida Aquarium. Cancellation may be made with full refund up to seven days before the date of the trip.

Keys Dive Trip

Join the Bill Jackson’s Key Largo dive trip, scheduled for June 23-26, 2016, where you can dive the beautiful reefs and wrecks with great visibility and prime water temperatures.

October 1st-7th

Blackbeard’s Cruises

Arrrgh, are ye ready to dive with us in the Bahamas?

Price per diver: $1,599

Dive and snorkel the pristine waters of the Caribbean, where the famous pirate Blackbeard made his name centuries ago. Create memories that will last a lifetime, as you will have the opportunity to make up to 20 dives (including night dives and shark feeding). Leaving Nassau, we’ll traverse the islands of the upper Exumas Cays to dive reefs, walls and drift dive. We’ll also do night dives and a shark feeding dive. Snorkeling is also on the itinerary, as well as feeding wild iguanas.

Stay in an air-conditioned dormitory-style setting that includes food and drink.  A non-refundable deposit of $250 (per person) is required before July 11, 2016, to reserve your spot.

This trip includes:

  • Round trip airfare out of Orlando International 
  • Transfers to and from the airport/marina (Nassau)
  • Up to 20 dives (tanks and weights included)
