Earth Day Photo Contest

In honor of earth day, we are holding a photo contest! We encourage all participants to use their creativity to come up with the “earthiest” photo. The staff of Bill Jackson’s will judge all photos the morning of Earth Day to decide a winner.

The contest will begin April 1st and will close April 21st at 6 pm. The winner will be announced on Earth Day (April 22nd).

Please e-mail all entries to Courtney@billjacksons.com with the subject “Earth Day Photo Contest”.

The winner of the contest will be given the choice of a Men’s Reef Runner Lite or a Women’s Dryflylite Exofficio button up shirt (value of about $70.00).

All participants must be able to come into the store with a valid ID to claim their prize.

Suncoast Dutch Oven Society Cooking Demo

The Suncoast Dutch Oven Society will be visiting Bill Jackson’s Saturday, April 19th! The SDOC will be demonstrating how to cook in a Lodge cast iron  right here on our front porch. The demo will be from 9:30 am till 4 pm. This should be a great day so we encourage everyone to come stir up some fun!

Weeki Wachee River

Enjoy the charm and scenery of this beautiful river. We’ll head up-stream from Roger’s Park and stop part way to have lunch. After we eat we will continue to the head springs. The trip back down stream is always fun. Don’t forget to pack a lunch. There is a small parking fee.

Scuba Diving

April 18th

Try SCUBA

We will be having a Try SCUBA experience on Friday, April 18, 2014 from 7:00p – 8:00 pm.

This is completely free and if you have never tried SCUBA before but have wanted to, now is your chance.

All you need to bring is a swimsuit and a towel. The Try SCUBA will be conducted in our heated pool and is a great way to be introduced to the sport.
