Keen’s Live Monumental Event

Keen’s Live Monumental campaign is an attempt to protect 3 million acres of public lands for their recreational value. Keen, a footwear manufacturer, is a partner working to collect more than 100,000 signatures in an effort to gain a national monument designation for five areas in the United States (Gold Butte, Nev.; Boulder- White Clouds, Idaho; Owyhee Canyonlands, Ore.; Mojave Trails, Calif.; and Birthplace of Rivers, W.V.). The effort, which started with a two-month road trip in 2015, was documented in film.

Bill Jackson’s will show three films in celebration of National Public Lands Day, beginning at 11 am in our Great Room.
